Housing issues will always arise; it is therefore important to know your rights and responsibilities. You may find our self-help section below helpful in finding the information you are looking for.

If you need help, please contact us - we give advice on a wide range of housing issues including navigating the council’s homelessness service, overcrowding, help with housing costs, repairs in rented housing, mortgage problems, problems with landlords, threatened and actual homelessness.

If you are threatened with eviction, we may be able to work with you to help you avoid losing your home.

Please note that we are unable to advise landlords on tenant issues. You can try the National Residential Landlord’s Association. Whilst we can advise leaseholders, the Leasehold Advisory Service is a more specialised service offering free initial advice.

What our clients say:

‘‘Thank you so much…
for your help. With your
help my family has been
able to secure housing
and our future looks
extremely bright. ’’
