Our services are completely free for anyone who needs our help.
Although our volunteers give their time for free, it still costs around £400,000 each year to run our service. We receive no statutory funding, so we rely on support from our local councils, trusts and foundations and the generous support of our local community.

Your money can help us increase our capacity to train volunteers and support people experiencing hardship - debt, homelessness, poverty and unemployment.

If you’d like to help us keep our services free and accessible to East Herts residents, you can support us as shown below.

Individual Giving

If you’d like to make a donation online, please click here for our JustGiving page. Alternatively, donations can be dropped in or sent to the Manor House, 21 High Street, Buntingford SG9 9AB. Please make cheques payable to East Herts Citizens Advice Service.

If you want to donate to a particular project, please make this known at the time of donation as any funds will otherwise be used to provide advice to as many people as possible throughout East Herts.

Bequests

A bequest (a monetary gift) can be added to a new or existing will as a fixed amount of money or a percentage of your estate when all other tax and beneficiaries have been settled. Whether large or small such a gift will make a difference.

Fundraising Events

At Citizens Advice East Herts, we all go the extra mile to help local people resolve their problems. Why not join in and make a difference to local people in need

Click here and pledge to walk as far as you like on Sunday 21st July

We’ll then provide you with a t-shirt and sponsorship information so you can fundraise on our behalf

While we can't walk a marathon on our own, together we can do far more than that.

If you want to run a marathon, jump from a plane, cycle to Land’s End and back or simply hold a coffee morning, we’re here to give you all the support you need. You can find ideas, more information, or set up a sponsor page on our JustGiving page here or you can ask us for paper sponsor forms if you need them.

We will also be pleased to promote the event on our website and social media channels.

If you have an idea for raising funds for us and want to discuss it, please get in touch by emailing comms@citizensadviceeastherts.org.uk

Citizens Advice East Herts is here for everyone who needs us. Last year we saw the number of issues and contacts per client increase due to the rising cost of living.

More people need us than we can currently serve.
Your support will enable us help more people who need us, now and in years to come.
